The Polish movie channel Kino Polska TV has acquired a majority stake in Stopklatka, the oldest and one of the most popular film portals in the country, for an undisclosed fee.
Kino Polska TV is distributed by all of Poland’s DTH platforms and most cable operators to a potential 7 million homes. It is also the exclusive distributor of FilmBox, FilmBox Extra, FilmBox Family and FilmBox HD in Poland.
Kino Polska TV’s management are considering further investments, while Stopklata plans to debut on the NewConnect stock market in the near future.
