Russia’s Comstar-UTS ended Q1 with 125,000 triple-play subscribers in Moscow, or 9% less than a year earlier.
Triple-play ARPU in Q1 meanwhile amounted to RUR550 (€14.45) and $18.4 (€15.05), 11% and 26% more respectively than in Q1 2009. The company’s voice and combined voice and broadband subscriber totals in Moscow at the end of Q1 this year stood at 3,609,000 and 860,000 respectively.
In the regions, Comstar-UTS ended Q1 with 1,997,000 pay-TV subscribers, or 2% more than a year earlier. Its total pay-TV subscriber total in Russia stood at 2,122,000, also 2% more than a year earlier.
Comstar-UTS’s consolidated revenues in Q1 rose 7% year-on-year in rouble terms to $407 million.
