The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has added an independent Polish movie strand to its VOD service.
Known as MultimediaOFF, it has launched with five titles that can be viewed for PLN4 (€0.97).
More titles will be added in due course, as will a new strand offering independent Polish documentary films.
Multimedia Polska, which is the third largest cable operator in Poland after UPC and Vectra, has been supporting independent local film production for a number of years. It launched its VOD service in 2007.
