The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT has launched the country’s first ever network PVR service. Known as Mano TV irsai (My TV Recordings), it allows viewers to record TV programmes or films available in 77 channels and watch them later.
They will be able to save 40 sporting events, news programmes or films and watch them subsequently for a period of eight days.
Mano TV irsai is being offered free of charge to all Interactive GALA TV customers who order the monthly VOD service. Research has shown that over 85% of Lithuanians would be interested in using a service such as Mano TV irsai. I
Interactive GALA is an IPTV platform with over 58,000 subscribers, and TEO LT also operates a DTT service named Digital GALA which is viewed by over 47,000 people.
