Canal+ has provided further details of what will be the first ever 3D broadcast this Saturday (May 15) in Poland.
Having previously stated that it would be a live transmission of one of three matches from the Polish Ekstraklasa premier football league, it now says the game covered will be that between Wisla Kraków and Odra Wodzislaw.
Furthermore, it has also said that besides being shown in selected pubs in Kraków, Poznan and Warsaw, the game will be screened by the Multikino cinema chain in the three cities. In each instance, prospective viewers will have to register online, with the successful ones, who will watch the match for free, chosen by lottery.
Cyfra+ DTH subscribers with a 3D TV and HD receiver will also be able to view the game at home free of charge.
The transmission is being undertaken in co-operation with Eutelsat and LG Electronics and will be followed the following day by the first ever screening of a 3D movie in Poland.
