Three ‘Partners for Quality’ join forces

May 3, 2010 11.09 Europe/London By Robert Briel

ANGA Cable 2010; Stand: foyer congress hall.

The ANGA Competence Center (ANGA CC), Technology Centre of the German Institute of Broadband Communications (dibkom TZ) and the ZVEI Association for Satellite & Cable will present themselves in a joint stand. Under the slogan ‘Partners for Quality’, the three players are focusing on quality issues in the development of broadband communication networks to high performance full-service networks.

ZVEI will address issues of trouble-free reception of digital television, particularly for high-definition television (HDTV). With a newly introduced ‘Class A’ label network components and products of high quality can easily be idnetified . Dibkom TZ has developed a training platform to make sure the products will be best applied.

The ANGA Competence Center supports the quality management of the operator in order to avoid unwanted electromagnetic emissions of the networks. It also acts as the point of contact for the operator with the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur).

Herbert Strobel, CEO of the ZVEI-Fachverband Satellit & Kabel, welcomes this collaboration: “We are delighted at the major European industry platform, the ANGA Cable, to be jointly represented. A successful digitization and the introduction of HDTV are closely linked with high-quality network components. The quality mark, Class A ‘helps the European network operators to deliver this quality to the end customer. ”

The pavilion is located in the foyer of the convention area.
