Strong has announced it will exclusively distribute the smallest TNT Canal Ready receiver in the French market from this month.
The mini receiver is as small as a credit card and fits in the back of a TV set. The viewer can continue to use its existing remote control, but now has access to all digital terrestrial channels, as well as to the CanalSat bouquet of channels with the necessary smart card.
“Households will love its incredible small size, but also its space saving. Practical and aesthetic, the module simply slides into the slot located at the rear of the TV set,” according to the manufacturer, who claims 500,000 TNTSat receivers sold in France, “Now the installation of an external receiver and annoying cables belong to the past.”
