The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT has announced upgrades to its DSL broadband offer starting from May 1.
They will see connection speeds for most ZEBRA internet users increase by up to four times and the international bandwidth by up to eight times.
Premium Plus, the fastest DSL offer, will provide access speeds of up to 12 Mbps and cost LTL79.90 (€23.13) a month to receive. However, this is only LTL20 a month less than the fastest FTTH service MEGA FTTH, which provides access at up to 200 Mbps.
As of the end of March, TEO’s internet services were used by 320,000 subscribers, of who 74,000 opted for FTTH.
