MTG has said it will launch a new localised premium sports pay-TV channel in Bulgaria tomorrow (April 30).
Known as Nova Sport, it will include the English Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, IAAF Diamond League athletics and 2010 IIHF World Championship ice hockey.
Nova Sport will be the 14th localised sports channel launched by MTG and replace the current free-to-air channel MM in third party satellite, cable and IPTV networks.
As a result, it will be available to more than 60% of Bulgarian TV households from launch. MTG’s offer in Bulgaria will also be enhanced from May 5 with the launch of the pay-TV channel Viasat Nature.
