German manufacturer TechnoTrend Görler is showing HD receivers for a number of platforms, including three cable tuners and a hybrid PVR.
The three new cable sets offer HD reception on the cable nets of Unitymedia, Kabel Deutschland KDG, as well as on the networks that take the Conax-encrypted Kabelkiosk service.
TechnoTrend also is also showing a hybrid IPTV solution using technologies from Verimatrix and BeeSmart with an integrated Conax CA module for hybrid applications. “With the enlargement of our IP-receiving product range we can at an early stage develop solutions, which we see in the market in the future besides the known technologies Nagravision and Quative and therefore we can respond to international customer requests in a far better way,” said Thomas Gerlach, MD, in a statement.
For reception of the German HD+ platform, TechoTrend offers new satellite receivers, including the TT-micro S825 HD+. The company is also offering software upgrades for its TT-select S950 HD PVR and TT-select S850 HDTV satellite receivers to make reception of the HD+ channels possible.
The company is also showing a ne international digital receiver product range for DVB-T and ISDB-T, including models that allow for terrestrial HD reception.
