The satellite receiver manufacturer Aston has signed an agreement with the Canal+ Group to bring a number of Canal ready receivers to the market.
Aston will start to deliver a software update for Simba HD TNTSat receivers with CI Plus enabling Canal Ready from May 17. Other models will also become available in retail at later dates.
With Canal ready TNTSat receievers, viewers will be able to upgrade from the 18-channel free-to-air offer to a number of premium offers from Canal, including the CanalSat thematic bouquets and the various subscription models to the Canal+ premium movie and sports channels.
