MIPTV 2010 – CANNES. Lee Raftery has been promoted to senior VP, international marketing, Comcast International Media Group (CIMG). The announcement was made by Suzanne Kolb, president, marketing, news and online for E! Entertainment Television & The Style Network and Kevin MacLellan, president, CIMG and Comcast Entertainment Studios.
Based in CIMG’s Los Angeles headquarters, Raftery is charged with spearheading all marketing efforts for CIMG’s channels, which include E! Entertainment Television, The Style Network, G4 and Golf Channel, as well as leading the company’s international marketing teams in the US, UK and Hong Kong.
Raftery is also responsible for the development of international marketing strategies and plans for CIMG’s channel properties, programme sales, as well as digital and new media content outside the US. In his new expanded role, Raftery will now oversee CIMG’s Los Angeles-based, on-air promotion team.
