Hungary had 1.785 million fixed broadband subscriptions as of the end of January, or 18,000 more than a month earlier, according to data published by the country’s National Communications Authority (NHH).
The total number of cable broadband subscriptions stood at around 976,000 – a figure extrapolated from the 812,000 served by the leading providers of such services, which accounted for 80-85% of the market.
The number of ADSL lines at the end of January stood at 810,000.
