VH1 Rossiya, the localised Russian version of VH1, will no longer be available in the country from April 1.
Satkurier reports that as from the beginning of next month viewers will be offered VH1 (Video Hits One), along with VH1 Europe.
VH1 Rossiya has been distributed by a number of platforms in Russia including NTV-Plus and had 2.3 million subscribers back in February 2009.
Although no reasons for its withdrawal have been given, there is speculation they were financial.
