Canal+ plans to launch a new sports channel in Poland. Known as Canal+ Sport3, it will make its debut on a trial basis in March and be on air every weekend for the remainder of the football season. The two transmissions it will offer each Saturday and Sunday will provide additional choice for viewers already able to receive Canal+ Sport and Canal+ Sport2.
Furthermore, with the resumption of the Polish Ekstraklasa football league this Friday (February 26) following the winter break, Canal+ plans to offer viewers over 100 games from the league, around 40 of which will be in HD, over the next 11 weeks.
