UPC Nederland said is has now started work to provide full UPC triple play services in 14 built-up areas in the municipalities of Druten, Renkum and Tiel.
The upgrade of the networks are expected to be finished by the summer, when customers in these areas will be able to take full advantage of the triple play services of UPC. This includes 120 Mbps Fiber Power internet access, telephony and digital TV services, including all HD channels and full on-demand interactivity.
These are the last of the remaining ‘white spots’ in the network in the provinces of South Holland and Gelderland. Until now, the cabler could not offer full triple play in these parts of the network. (See also our earlier report)
