Margo Daly is to step down as CEO of Music Choice Europe. She will stay on in an advisory capacity through Stella-Works Ltd, her media consultancy and production company.
“I had a wonderful 15-year career at Music Choice, working with some of the brightest and hardest working people in the industry, to build the company into the No.1 digital audio broadcast network in Europe,” said Daly. “After leading the organisation through both its public and private company phases, and launching music video on demand, I have accomplished a lot of what I set out to do and believe it is the right time for a transition for both me and the Company”.
Daly joined Music Choice after a spell at DMX Europe, which in the early 1990s competed for attention in the premium audio space. In Europe, DMX evolved into Xtra Music, and was acquired by Music Choice in March 2007.
