TV services aimed specifically at Slovaks living abroad are likely to be launched later this year.
According to Slovak Spectator, the country’s deputy PM Dusan Caplovic has met with the director of the Slovaks Living Abroad Office to discuss such broadcasts and to draft content guidelines, programming structure and technical details.
The Office is understood to be looking into satellite and internet options for the delivery of TV services, though the final decision will be influenced by financial considerations.
