It’s time to say goodbye to NTL-Telewest, again, with Virgin Media’s rebranding of its business telecoms division as Virgin Media Business. The company had kept the old livery following the rebranding of its parent company in February 2007.
Under the new moniker the company, formerly known as ntl:Telewest Business, has set itself ambitious new targets after three years of double digit growth.
“Our next generation consumer services, in broadband and video on demand, are unrivalled in speed and quality of service,” said Virgin Media CEO Neil Berkett. “There is now a significant opportunity to leverage the full power of our fibre optic network in the business telecoms market. Virgin Media Business will take our strong customer-centric approach to a growing and under-served market in which there is a need for a compelling and distinctive alternative to BT.”
Virgin Media Business will have 40 offices across the UK and plans to target both mid-market enterprises and the public sector.
