Swedish middleware provider Dreampark has said it plans to expand its workforce by 30% over the next 12 months. The Norrköping-based company says its IPTV middleware remains the most deployed in Europe and has managed to ride out the recession through a 40% increase in resources during 2009. It has recently received a substantial cash injection from Acacia Asset Management AB.
“We are very pleased with the results we’ve had in 2009, especially considering the adverse financial environment in most of our markets,” said Per Skyttval, CEO, Dreampark. “We are committed to growing our business and revenues by 30% in 2010, and the right way to do that is to expand our resources by hiring the best and brightest minds that are available to us.”
Skyttval said there had been a substantial demand for Dreampark’s Next Generation Portal, scheduled for release in the next few weeks, and offering operators additional customisation and regionalisation.
