Romania’s Intact Media Group has claimed a combined audience of 18% for its five TV channels in 2009 among urban viewers aged 15-54.
The figure, produced by GfK, represented a 29.5% increase on the previous year and – perhaps more significantly – almost four in five Romanian (78.2%) watched the group’s channels last year.
Intact’s flagship channel Antenna 1 had an audience share of 11.7%, while the other two Antenna channels 2 and 2 accounted for 1.3% and 4.8% respectively.
The niche channels GSP and Euforia meanwhile claimed 1.5% and 0.9% respectively.
