TechniSat Digital has agreed a deal with Digi, one of the leading cable and DTH providers in Hungary. Under it, the Romanian-owned company will be supplied with the Digit K3X and Digit HD4 CX.
The former is a digital cable receiver for the reception of FTA and Conax encrypted channels offered by Digi via cable in Hungary.
The Digit HD4 CX is meanwhile a digital cable box for the reception of FTA and Conax encrypted channels in SD and HD.
Digi is part of the RCS/RDS group and claims around 200,000 cable and 400,000 DTH customers in Hungary.
The latter figure represents just over half the DTH subscriber total in the country.
