The cartoon entertainment channel Boomerang has secured carriage on the RCS/RDS cable and DTH systems in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
By being now also available on the systems in Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, it will have an additional 3.5 million subscribers across the region, bringing the total to 9.5 million.
Boomerang is operated by Turner Broadcasting and already present in a number of other CEE markets including Poland, Russia and Bulgaria. It is also available in several West European markets, the Middle East and South Africa.
