The Slovak incumbent telco T-Com has officially launched its new DTH platform Magio Sat. At the same time, it has significantly increased the number of channels carried by its IPTV service Magio TV.
Magio Sat is offering subscribers two packages – Basic and Classic, with 12 and 35 channels respectively. Each will be available for €7.95 a month for the first 12 months, with the latter than rising in price to €11.95.
A HBO Cinemax package is being made available for free for three months and a HD one for a nominal fee.
Antennas and access cards are also being offered for free, while receivers (‘Magio Boxes’) can be rented for €1.95 a month. Those with 250 GB hard disks, however, cost €3.95 a month.
Separately, Magio TV has added a further 12 channels to its offer today (January 18), bringing the total to 80. It has also introduced a number of new premium packages.
