Serbia’s leading cable operator Serbia Broadband (SBB) is expected to shortly introduce a package of HD channels.
According to MPortal, it will be made available to digital subscribers to the D3 service and is likely to include Discovery Channel HD, National Geographic HD, History HD, Fashion TV HD, Eurosport HD and Eurosport 2 Bundesliga HD.
However, film channels, at least initially, will not be in the offer.
SBB is backed by Mid Europa Partners and has around 500,000 cable subscribers. It also operates the pan-region DTH platform Total TV.
