Digital cable take-up in Poland is growing rapidly in Poland, with Vectra, rather than UPC, still claiming the most subscribers.
According to data produced by PIKE and published by Satkurier, the country’s six largest cable operators has a combined total of 627,900 digital subscribers as of Q2 2009, or 73,800 more than three months earlier.
Vectra claimed 220,000 (20,000 more than in Q1), and was followed by UPC with 160,400 (+37,800), Multimedia Polska with 93,000 (+6,000) and Aster with 75,000 (+5,000).
Inea, the fifth largest operator, accounted for 54,000 subscribers (+2,000) and sixth-placed Toya for 25,500 (+3,000).
