Further details have emerged about Poland’s newest DTH platform, which is operated by the incumbent telco Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) and has made its debut this week.
Satkurier reports that the service will operate alongside TP’s IPTV offer, with reception being through Samsung decoders (rather than Sagem, as for IPTV). Its two programme packages M and L will cost PLN39.90 (€9.50) and PLN59.90 a month to receive respectively, with a HBO package costing an additional PLN25 a month and Orange Sport PLN14 a month.
Viewers will be able to receive the channels free of charge for 10 months if they sign a two-year contract. HD channels will be added to the offer at a future date, and a multiroom service is also being planned.
