EuroSummit 2009 – Lisbon. Chris Winkelmolen was appointed as CTAM Europe’s new chairman, taking over from Chad Raube. With a career that spans 15 years in telecommunications, advertising and cable, Winkelmolen has been sitting on the CTAM board for over three years and starts his new role immediately for a two- year term. He is currently director of marketing, Europe, UPC Broadband.
“I am very proud to be appointed the next CTAM Europe Chairman, succeeding Chad Raube who has done an outstanding job making CTAM Europe grow and develop to where it is today: the cable industry’s growth engine. The EuroSummit in Lisbon has also shown that we have found a successful formula providing excellent speakers and great networking opportunities as well as a lot of fun for all companies related to our industry. CTAM Europe has already set the date for the next EuroSummit, scheduled to take place 23-24 September 2010 in Budapest, Hungary.
