The Russian cable operator ER Telecom plans to end this year with up to 1 million broadband internet subscribers in the 17 cities it is present in.
It currently has 800,000, with the largest number being in Samara, where the number has increased by 1.7 times so far this year.
Meanwhile Comstar-UTS has announced that the Moscow City Telephone Network (MGTS), which is 55.73% owned by the company, added a further 28,000 broadband internet subscribers in Q3 to reach over 210,000.
