Poland’s first DVB-H service is expected to officially make its debut tomorrow (September 29).
Gazeta Prawna reports that the service, operated by Info-TV-FM, is likely to start with an offer consist of 13 TV channels and four radio stations.
Trials have been taking place in Warsaw and the service should be available in 10 large cities by the end of the year.
At this stage it remains unclear which mobile networks will be selling reception equipment, the only suitable handset currently available in the Polish market being the Nokia N96.
