Purescreens has announced its first distribution agreements in Europe with French IPTV operators Free and Alice to launch HD Nature on October 2.
Purescreens HD Nature “aims to turn the TV screen into the most decorative item in the living room. This new service is for the moments when people are not watching traditional television shows, but don’t want their large flat-screen to be a dark stain on their walls.”
Purescreens HD Nature is a sequence of shots of natural sites, filmed all over the globe from a fixed HD camera. The 10-minute unedited programmes reflect nature’s slow pace and convey, thanks to the hyper-realism of HD, the feeling of looking through an actual window to nature at its best.
Purescreens HD Nature will broadcast 24/7. It will be offered for free during the first 3 months to all of Free and Alice’s 3.5 million IPTV subscribers. After this trial period, the service will be offered on an à la carte basis.
