Ofcom has appointed Aqriva’s Hyacinth ‘H’ Nwana as its new partner in charge of spectrum. The MD of mobile media solutions will join the regulator later this month.
Known as ‘H’, Nwana will have responsibility for spectrum issues across mobile phone networks, TV and radio broadcasting, wireless internet, sat-nav, air traffic control, and the emergency services.
Prior to joining Arqiva in July 2005, Nwana was director of products, content and technology at Quadriga Worldwide. He also worked for BT Laboratories at Adastral Park.
Ofcom has also appointed Steve Unger as its chief technology officer, moving from the competition group, where he had been director.
