The digital TV subscriber total in Hungary grew by 20,000 in July to reach 1.061 million, according to data published by the country’s National Communication Council (NHH).
Although UPC was the leading provider of digital TV services, its share fell from the previous month’s 33.4% to 33.1%.
Digi remained in second place, unchanged on 24.1%, while Magyar Telekom (T-Home) saw its share rise from 18.2% to 18.9%.
According to the NHH, nearly 3 million households in Hungary now receive some sort of pay-TV service.
