SES ASTRA has signed a further agreement with the incumbent Polish telco Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) for the marketing of the interactive satellite-based broadband service ASTRA2Connect.
As a result, the service, which began its rollout at the beginning of this month, will now be offered in three different packages throughout Poland, with download speeds ranging from 512Kbps to 2.048Mbps.
ASTRA2Connect is seen as an ideal solution to the 2 million homes in Poland still not covered by terrestrial broadband networks.
