The ad market in Russia slumped by 30% in the first half of this year, according to data produced by a division of Video International.
The data, published by Cableman, also shows that TV ad spend was 21% lower in the first half of the year, with May and June the most difficult months.
In those months, the ad revenues of federal TV declined by between 22-26%, as opposed to 16% in July.
Russia’s ad market is expected to start recovering in the second half of this year.
