AETN UK says it has signed an agreement to distribute History HD on the Welho platform in Finland from next Tuesday (September 1).
The launch on Welho marks the first cable distribution deal for History HD in Finland. It will broadcast 100% HD content and offer a separate schedule from the SD sibling which is currently carried by Welho.
History and History HD are also available throughout the Nordic Countries via Canal Digital, ComHem, Telia, Sonera, and Skjarinn, amongst others.
Christina Foley, commercial director of AETN UK, said in a statement, “We are delighted to increase our cooperation with Welho in Finland and look forward to the launch of History HD in September.”
