What is more, 31% of those in the capital, Kiev, watch digital TV, with Volia Cable the leading provider of services.
Both statistics were provided by Kiev Post in a snapshot of the TV market in Ukraine.
This also showed that ad spend in the country is likely to fall by as much as 40% this year.
Furthermore, it painted a negative picture about DTT, the delayed rollout of which – ASO is set for a still distant 2015 – may be further delayed by “complicated political rivalries”.
