Poland’s leading DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat is likely to be offering a triple play service at the beginning of 2010.
Quoting president Dominik Libicki, Wirtualne Media says that the platform is currently in negotiations with several parties for provision of an internet service, with one being Sferia, which holds a licence for the 850 MHz radio frequency.
It may, however, also consider offering an internet service via satellite.
Cyfrowy Polsat, which had 2,884,106 subscribers at the end of Q2, will start trialling its triple play offer before the end of the year.
