The exclusivity held by Canal+ on the TF1-owned channels LCI, Eurosport, Eurosport 2, TV Breizh, Histoire and Ushuaïa looks set to continue for another two years.
It follows a consultation launched by the French commercial broadcaster in June that will now pass to the competition authority in Paris.
Quoting industry sources, Les Echos, said that although no news was forthcoming from TF1, the prospect of the channels being made non-exclusive was not yet on the agenda.
