The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT will not raise its prices once VAT is increased from 19% to 21% in the country this September.
As a result, it expects to lose almost LTL3 million (€867,810) this year, rising to over LTL9 million in 2010.
TEO LT, which is 60% indirectly owned by TeliaSonera, operates both an IPTV and a DTT service, named Interactive GALA and Digital GALA respectively.
As of the end of June, it had a total of 85,800 TV subscribers.
