Owner commits to Cyfrowy Polsat

August 10, 2009 06.27 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The leading Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat is unlikely to be sold by Zygmunt Solorz-Zak.

However, quoted in Wirtualne Media, he conceded that offers for the platform would always come up.

Solorz-Zak also said that he plans to invest in the telco Sferia, which he acquired in October 2008, and to focus on both Sferia’s and Cyfrowy Polsat’s internet offer next year.

Furthermore, he said that Cyfrowy Polsat is on track to launch both a film and a football channel this autumn.
