ROK Entertainment Group, a London based mobile technologies, applications and services company, has announced that its streamed mobile TV service, ROK TV, is compatible with the latest BlackBerry smartphones.
“This is great news for ROK and represents huge potential for the continued deployment of ROK TV,” said Jonathan Kendrick, chairman and CEO of ROK in a statement, “as BlackBerry users tend to be tech-savvy and hungry for information and entertainment on their mobiles.”
ROK TV, one of a suite of revenue-generating mobile services produced by ROK, enables the stream of live and on-demand video to mobile phones over mass-market 2.5G as well as over 3G and has launched its subscription-based mobile TV service with several operators worldwide.
“To add BlackBerry smartphones to our list of compatible handsets for ROK TV is a fantastic development and one which we are very excited to exploit”, added Kendrick.
