Netgem, a French provider of IPTV and hybrid TV solutions, has announced the appointment of Christophe Aulnette as the company’s MD.
The position, previously held by Joseph Haddad, chairman and co-founder of Netgem, reflects the company’s desire to develop its business within the global IPTV market, by leveraging its hardware and software technology assets and by building upon its successes in its domestic market. Netgem just passed the two millions mark for its HD IP set top boxes shipments in France.
A 47 years old graduate from the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications”, Christophe Aulnette began his career at an IT services company (SDP) before in 1986 joining Microsoft France. In March 2005, he left Microsoft to become chairman of the management board of Altran Technologies and since October 2006, he has been providing consultancy and investment services, covering the technology sector and the Asia region.
