Astra Broadband Services (ABBS) says Astra2Connect has attracted 40,000 customers since its launch two years ago. The internet-via-satellite platform now claims 10,000 new subscribers a month.
“We are very pleased that Astra2Connect has proven to be popular in the European market,” said Norbert Willems, MD of Astra Broadband Services.
The service, which has customers in 14 different countries, is marketed to end consumers via a network of dealers across Europe. It is targeted at those regions on the continent that devoid of broadband access.
