Virgin Media is launching a new TV campaign for its mobile product, the first since Virgin’s mobile division came together with the cablenet, as part of the 2007 merger between Telewest and NTL.
The 60 second ad is the second in Virgin Media’s “Powerful Stuff” series, and features a soundtrack from 90s alternative rockband Mazzy Star. It will premiere on June 24 and run for five weeks.
The imagery shows a man boarding a train, taking his mobile out of his pocket, and whisked away to be with friends, loved ones, and be immersed in a world of music, film and gaming.
