The German firm AllesSehen GmbH (SeeAll Inc) is to launch a new DTH platform that will draw on channels broadcast by the Eutelsat Kabelkiosk platform.
Later this month, two packages of channels will be made available. The first will be called fernsehen für mich and offer 11 German language channels, including Volksmusik TV, TV Country, Body in Balance, Your Family Entertainment, Yacht & Sail and Travel Channel. The remainder will be announced.
A second bouquet, called US Entertain, will contain a number of mainly English language channels, including America Unleashed, Total Hip Hop, TV Country, BBC Prime, Yacht & Sail and Body in Balance. Other channels will be added in due course.
In addition, viewers will be able to subscribe to the sports channel Sportdigital as an a la carte option or in combination with the one or both of the packages.
Each bouquet costs €9.90 a month with Sportdigital €4.90 if bought in combination and €7.99 as an a la carte option. Every subscriber will need to buy a starter package for €29.90 that will include the smart card.
The new DTH platform will be available to viewers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on the Eutelsat Eurobird 9A satellite and encrypted using Conax.
