Sky Deutschland will launch its new digital bouquets, including Sky Welt (World), Sky HD, Sky Film, Sky Sport and Sky Bundesliga, as well as a new price structure, on July 4. The number of HD channels will grow from two to six.
Sky will triple its HD offer, bringing the total number to six channels. The bouquet, which will cost €10 on top of the basic offer, will comprise of Sky Cinema HD, Disney Cinemagic HD, Sky Sport HD, National Geographic HD, History HD and Discovery HD.
Sky Welt will be the new basic package, its 20 channels including Sky Krimi, Fox, TNT Serie, Motorvision TV, Spiegel Geschichte, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, National Geographic Wild, Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Jetix and Junior. The basic tier will cost €16.90.
Sky Film will offer ten channels, including the Sky services Sky Film, Sky Film +1, Sky Film +24, Sky Action, Sky Nostalgie, Sky Emotion, Sky Comedy and Sky Cinema Hits. MGM and Disney Cinemagic will also be part of the movie package. The movie tier will cost €32.90, in combination with Sky Welt.
Sky Sport will consist of two channels and offer UEFA Champions League and other international football, F1 racing, golf, ice hockey, tennis, wrestling, extreme sports and more. There will be a separate sports channel for Austria, called Sky Sport Austria. The sports tier will costs €32.90 in combination with Sky Welt.
The Bundesliga football offer will be offered separately and costs €44.90 in a package consisting of Sky Welt, Sky Sport and Sky Fußball Bundesliga (+ €5 for HD), with other combinations also available.
The top tier will consist of Sky Welt, Sky Film, Sky Sport and Sky Fußball Bundesliga and cost €54.90 plus €5 for the HD version.
