ANGA CABLE 2009 – COLOGNE. “We are pleased to see a full house here at the opening session,” Thomas Braun, president of the German cable association ANGA, told ANGA delegates “with 380 exhibitors our show is also sold out.”
“While other fairs see attendance down by 25 to 40%, we seem to move against the general trend, which has no influence on our business. This is due to our investment, which was €470 million last year and which will reach €700 million in 2009.”
The show itself has also grown in scope: “This year we see not just cable and satellite companies, but also fibre networks and broadcasters.”
