Orange is again bringing innovation to the Roland Garros French Open in Paris. A new 3D demo, staged in association with France Télévisions, is being shown to invited guests as is a new search engine that brings together TV, press and radio.
24/24 actu is described as “a new kind of multimedia news search engine” that will enable access to a wide variety of information from a dedicated service.
In a repeat of last year’s 3D experiment, the second week of the tournament (May 31 to June 7) will capture all the matches played onto the Philippe Chatrier centre court through to the final. The special 3D channel can be viewed on 3D screens at the Roland Garros site, as well as in five Orange stores in France (Bordeaux, Lille, Nantes, Paris Champs Elysées, Paris Madeleine).
The Tennis Everywhere service returns for a sixth consecutive year, allowing domestic customers in France to follow the highlight of the clay court season on their TV, computer or mobile.
