ANGA CABLE 2009 – COLOGNE. Spain’s Televes is set to present its new DAT HD antenna.
According to the company, the DAT HD “is the first ‘intelligent’ antenna developed specifically for DTT and future HDTV”.
The intelligence of the antenna lies in the patented ‘BOSS TECH’ (Balanced Output Signal System) which regulates the output signal level automatically.
The DAT HD launch is backed by a large international marketing campaign in over 90 countries.
A new hybrid modem enables a broadband network to be established via pre-existing coaxial cable or in home electrical wiring, enabling interconnection of a personal computer and audiovisual equipment.
Televes new generation of digital headends, the T0X modules that enable the configuration of all kinds of services and cross-modulations, will also be on display at ANGA.
In addition, the company will feature its Diginova antenna, designed for private homes, and the EasyF coaxial cable connection system.
For installers there are the H45 portable field strength meters, which incorporate digital processing.
This is the first for its class, according to Televes.
